Back in Nottingham in the summer, I spent a lot of time in these co-ords. They were a birthday present from my mum and dad, spotted after nipping quickly into Urban Outfitters (like so many of my clothes are found).
They’ve been a firm summer favourite, mainly because I find it so hard to find black summer clothes, making these co-ords basically the answer to many of my problems. I guess the bright rainbow stripe gives them that summery feel.
I took my co-ords to Berlin, thinking they’d be perfect for a night out at Berghain (or basically any of the bars), except for the one weekend we were there, it turned very chilly, cue me having to rethink all of my outfits. Still, they’ve certainly served me well in the UK – and for my first few weeks in Toronto too (who knew Canada would be hot?!).
Anything with an exposed zip is fine by me… and these black and rainbow co-ords have two! Super comfy, I’ve been pairing them all summer with trainers, denim jacket and my trusty bum bag.
Now, I’ll be stowing my black and rainbow striped co-ords away until summer 2019. However, it makes me hopeful that I’ll be able to expand my summer wardrobe next year with even more black clothes (because let’s be honest: for a week I’m happy in floral dresses, but after that… well, I just want my Danish-inspired outfits back).
