Can we take a minute to talk about how amazing these boots are? After a quick visit to Urban Outfitters on Queen Street West in Toronto, these beauties caught my eye. Sadly, I realised they didn’t have my size but figured that was that.
Later on that day, we detoured across the city from the CN Tower over to Yonge Street so I could check the other Urban Outfitters. They actually had the white ankle boots in my size (yay!), but they didn’t fit in my case… so I left them.
A couple of days later, I was still thinking about the boots, so I looked at them on the UK website and saw that they were 50% off… so of course, I had to get them. It’s like it was meant to be.
I have somewhat of an obsession with boots (like coats, I’m of the firm belief you can never have too many), but I’ve never owned a pair of white ankle boots before. I love the contrast of the white leather and black platforms too – which makes them look so good paired with an all-black outfit.
You’ve probably seen this jumper before. From & Other Stories, it’s still a firm favourite in my wardrobe over a year later (the cut is just so flattering). The jeans are relatively new – I bought them from Topshop after searching for the perfect pair of skinny yet slouchy jeans (and I found them).
But one of my favourite recent purchases? These earrings – my parents got me them as a Christmas present from Toronto. They’re simple yet still make a statement, and they’re very Scandi inspired.
I’m so glad these white ankle boots are in my life – they’re going to be the perfect transition from winter to spring; and they instantly dress up any outfit. Next time I’m in Scandinavia, I’ll definitely be bringing these boots along.
