On Friday 21st July 2017, my family and I spent the day down in Exeter to celebrate my brother’s graduation from the University of Exeter (a first in Accounting, in case you were wondering).
The 9am graduation ceremony meant that I had to get up at 6.30am – I don’t think I’ve ever been that dressed up so early in my life!
It was only the second time I wore this dress – the first time being to my friend’s anniversary party. I loved the shape of this Topshop dress as soon as I saw it: the nipped in waist is very flattering, and anything with a cross-back is fine by me!
Unfortunately it threw it down with rain the whole day, which meant that we couldn’t take many pictures outside (in fact, it was raining heavily as these pictures were being taken, but you can’t really tell).
With all the walking we were doing, obviously I had to wear my favourite pair of Monki platforms – I honestly don’t think I’ll ever find another pair of heels as comfy as these.
After the graduation ceremony was over, we headed over to Exeter city centre for celebratory lunch at Cosy Club, before doing some shopping.
It was a shame the weather was as bad as it was, but it was still a good day. It did however, make me feel kind of old – how can it already have been three years since I graduated?!
